"Pulvis et Umbra Sumus..." introduces to us five songs, which can be placed within a stylistic area close to the dark-ambient genre, more "lyric-like" than "catacomb-like". This project, even if it displays the limitations of a debut work - mostly regarding some compositional naiveties, the use of the sounds of excessively “synthetic” tone, and the presence of rhythmic parts where the sequences and the metallic sounds (hit-hat, cymbals) and percussions (for example, kettledrums) also clearly seem unnatural and synthetic – it shows the signals of a substantial creativity, ability in thinking, composing and elaborating quite complex parts, as well as capacity in conceiving and realizing in sound form interesting and potentially emotional atmospheres...." Educated an archaeologist/linguist, he works in museums and excavations since 1992. His current employer is the Museum of National antiquities in Stockholm. He studied sound design at Octopus Multimedia Institute at Budapest between 1999-2000. 0729 are his artistic pseudo under various projects, 'stil.life' is his eighth release. His works are based on the most state-of-the-art digital technologies, but both with analog-to-digital feeling; his creations are basically emotional things.
